It is with great honor that I serve as the President of NSREA (National Society of Real Estate Appraisers).

Since 2020 when I came into the office of the president, the world has been dealing with the Covid 19 pandemic, the global economic financial crisis, and frequent local, regional, and national publications on “bias in appraisal practice”, “discrimination in mortgage appraisals”, “barriers to becoming a real property appraiser”, etc., notwithstanding, NSREA, under my leadership, has played a significantly important role in shaping the future of our profession in the United States of America NSREA is expanding its infrastructure to enable better services to its members and to provide members with a great opportunity to grow their businesses by connecting and collaborating with industry professionals. Our mission is on track to advance progress in appraisal bias, diversity, and the mis-valuation of real estate wealth in black communities.

In the years ahead and in anticipation of 2023, NSREA will become more important as the national and global perspectives on valuation services are discussed. Thus, NSREA has a critical role to play with our partners in developing the next generation of appraisers, especially black appraisers. NSREA, under my leadership, is in coalition with other professional appraisal organizations to address the challenges facing our industry, such as but not limited to PAREA (Practical Applications of Real Estate Appraisal), appraisal modernizations, and technological changes, while promoting and maintaining” public trust” for all appraisers to ensure our profession survive.

If you would like to get involved in any manner of the NSREA initiatives or have any suggestions about how we can do better. Please feel free to contact us at

We accept donations! Thank you
Sincerely
